"It's finished!" Akane said as she looked proudly at the food she prepared. "I hope it's good. I'll try some." She took a bite of the chicken, and it was just at the level of satisfactory. "Perfect! I hope Ranma'll like this food." She told herself. Akane packed the food into a basket, changed, and started for the park to meet with Ranma. 'I hope this date will go well.'

Akane saw Ranma coming with some flowers. "Oh, Ranma!" Akane exclaimed to get his attention. She held the picnic basket in both hands and was under a cherry blossom tree which was in full bloom. 'I'm glad to see that he hasn't forgotten.' She thought.

"Sure." Akane got the plates, utensils, and served the food to Ranma. "I hope that this chicken fried rice will be good." She told him.

Akane's smile got even bigger. 'He actually likes my cooking!' She thought. Akane also took a bite, and continued to eat with a blush. "I'm glad that you like it. Kasumi's been teaching me for some time now."

Akane's face turned completely red. "L...l.....lo...love?!" Akane asked herself. She just sat there, as a wind blew threw, pulling blossem petals with it.

Akane was even more surprised at that! She had only been said that by one other guy. Not counting Kuno. Ranma was never really open with his feelings like that. "Well...um.....I uh, actually......Love...you too." She admitted.

Akane felt the warm embrace of Ranma around her. It was very nice. Her redness went to her cheeks and just on her nose. She smiled, and hugged back.
